< Jewish Apple Cake

Yield: One cake

Time: 1 hour

Notes: Can make in a pretty bundt pan -- just make sure to grease liberally!

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 cups flour
• 4 eggs
• salt
• 1/3 cup orange juice
• 3-4 large apples, sliced, peeled and cored
• cinnamon sugar

Method

• Mix all ingredients together, except for apples.
• Put in 10 inch tube pan in the following manner: batter first, apples, batter, apples, batter, apples, batter.
• Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
• Bake at 350 F for 1 hour.
