Banana bread
Yield: One loaf
Time: 1 hour
Notes: The older the bananas the better!
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups flour
- 3/4 cup sugar (try mixing it up with treacle sugar)
- a few tsp baking powder
- a pinch of salt
- 2 smushed bananas
- 1 whisked egg
- 1/4 cup (??) of melted butter
- vanilla essence
- handful finely grated carrot
- chocolate (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 180.
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Mix wet ingredients.
- Mix together.
- Throw in broken up chocolate.
- Pour into a well-buttered cake tin.
- Bake for 40 - 50 minutes.
